I wish Australia Zoo had live web cams
Posted by Luv My Yorkie
Hello,
I love visiting the Australia Zoo website, in search of any new updates each week. And I’ve often thought of how wonderful it would be to see live web cams of Australia Zoo! :)

I think that would be fantastic, if you were able to go online and see the Zoo and the animals on web cam!

I am sure they will get a few soon. They are growing by leaps and bounds. And it would be a great way for us to keep track of certain animals. I do know however it is a nightmare to get the help needed to run those things as well as the webspace and time for that. I would bet that sometime soon we will see those.

Thats a great idea. We could feel a little closer to the land of Oz with a webcam and get to see what all the animals are up to! Two thumbs up for a web cam at Australia Zoo!

Yeah! That would be cool. I would love to watch the zoo animals. However they are expensive and hard to run.

Now that would be great! Another step in “being there!”

what a totally brilliant idea..wish the Zoo could do some thing like that.
Especially for those of us like me who though I would love to go to the Zoo itself some day, it is not with in my means to ever do so :(

Hi Guys, this is a great question and one we get asked a lot. We have been investigating this for a while now and hope to find the right solution for Australia Zoo. It certainly is a logistical task for a place as big as Australia Zoo, so we will keep researching for the best solution.

I would love to be able to watch the zoo via web cams. We live in the USA and it is going to be at least 3 more years before we have enough saved up in our Australia vacation fund for our trip so this would give myself and my daughter a way to visit the zoo even though we are not there yet.

I agree I live in the USA and I would LOVE to see what goes on at Australia Zoo daily!!!

Back in the day they did have web cams. That was so long ago. I used to watch the crocs all the time. I hope they come back with them. I would pay to watch.

I would love a live web cam!! I live in the USA as well. My ultimate dream vacation is to come to Australia and come to the zoo!! Until then, getting to see all the wonderful animals everyday live would be great!!

Instead of having web cams, Australia Zoo should make a whole new season of Croc Diaries! I want to know what’s happening at the zoo now. Watching re-runs from three years ago is great, but I want to see the zoo from a “now” perspective.

Webcams would certainly be a popular site and would probably get a ton of hits every day. I mean, who wouldn’t want to see what goes on at the Australia Zoo on a daily basis? I would love it!……Mike B./ Lkwd, Ca. USA.

I agree with Morgan! I would love for them to do a new season of Croc Diaries. It would be interesting to see how things are going without Steve. I miss him so much!!! There will NEVER be another Steve Irwin!

THAT WOULD BE AWSOME!!! YOU WOULD BE ABLE TO SEE WHAT THE ZOO IS LIKE AT ALL TIME OF THE DAY. I WOULD LOVE IT IF THERE WAS ONE FOR THE TIGERS.

I would love to see the webcams as my daughter and I both love watching them from all over the world. We are from Iowa, USA and may never get to your zoo.

Did you know there will be live streaming all day on Steve Irwin day?

I think a live webcam is a great idea…!!! Here in the United States the “San Diego Zoo” has a live cam in several exhibits and it’s great to watch the polar bears swimming or the moneys swinging threw the trees… the elephants grazing with their babies. I live 3,000 miles from the zoo and I’ll probally never be able to visit the park, so it’s nice to be able to view the animal “live”.
