Hi!
Just a short notice. If you do not like to see crocodile’s skin cut off and pasted on a piece of paper, please do not advance.
HI again. I have some bad photos of people killing crocs to get their skin. Btw, i got this when i went for an outing to a crocodile farm. Prepared to be shocked!(Or not.)
I made it small so people will not be disgusted. What this post is talking about, is NEVER EVER buy wildlife products and NEVER EVER support them.
See You Soon

After all these years, I want to tell you all how profoundly Steve influenced my son, Trevor. We have always love animals and have a small reptilian collection of our own. My son, Trevor grew up watching Steve’s adventures on Animal Planet and fully intended to study under him, journeying to the Australian Zoo after graduation. He cried for weeks after Steve passed away, but is now happy knowing that the zoo and Steve’s message will survive. This young man, Trevor, living in Southwest Florida caught and cared for snakes, turtles, alligators, and other reptiles nearly every day. Before, he gets too old I want to share this with you as a furthering tribute to Steve Irwin:
When he was 12, Trevor was fishing at one of the local fresh water lakes when he saw an alligator lying on the bank. The ‘gator looked decimated, dried out, and nearly dead. He went to it and helped it into the water, but the ‘gator thrashed, rolled, and did not act right. Trevor pulled him back on shore. A homeowner came out and told Trevor the ‘gator showed up about three days before and hadn’t moved from the bank. Trevor instinctively knew it would die, so he ran home, tied his wagon to his bike, dumped out toys from a rubbermaid tub and returned to save the ‘gator. Upon getting the alligator home, Trevor called a group called C.R.O.W. (Care and Rehabilitation of Wildlife) located on Sanibel Island, Fl. As members of the SW Florida Herpetological Society, we knew they help distressed indigenous species. CROW came and collected the alligator. Trevor gave them all the information he could and they saved the alligator’s life. They determined the alligator sustained permanent neurological damage likely from being struck by an automobile. Although the animal could never survive in the wild with the injuries he has, CROW donated him to a local alligator zoo where he will be cared for and make baby ‘gators for the rest of his life. Attached is a picture of Trevor with his ‘gator.

Good morning! If you are reading this blog it means you love wildlife and you were/are a Steve Irwin fan. It was 3 years ago today the world lost Steve. I just want everyone to know not to ever forget all the hard work Steve did for wildlife and conservation. I have a bumper sticker on my car that says, “We will continue your work,” and it’s a tribute to Steve. I never met him, but he affected my life for the better. He is an inspiration to me to help dismiss the fears about reptiles and at least have people try and respect animals even if they won’t love them as he did. Here’s to ya, Steve-O. Thinking of you today…and always!

This is my first bearded dragon I’ve had since early 2007, he’s been doing very well. He’s a German Giant, as you can tell, but if you ask me, he’s bigger than any other bearded dragon I’ve ever seen! It’s been a while since I’ve been on here, so I though I’d come back. He’s one awesome guy! I also have 2 others: Xena (Zeenah) and Bender. Bender I retrieved from a friend who wasn’t taking good care of him and pretty much saved him. I basically do feed them crickets, lettuce, and other fruits and veggies I have at my home here in Chicago, IL. I breed the crickets in my room in a cage and feed them lettuce and other veggies, as well and ground up cat food, and a small water dish. I love my beardies very much indeed, since I’m a reptile person myself. My favorite reptile group are crocodilians, but I like lizards just as much :) .
